I think with my oldest, we're just gonna get her some leggings and a leotard or something... she'll be alright. My youngest, we may just cheat with her costume; Black baggy sweatpants, black boots, white poofy blouse/sweater, red bandana, red sash, eyepatch... She's got a glowstick sword, so...

Lol nothing wrong with cheating with costumes when they're so young, but kids are so adorable when their costumes are right. Still, health before adorableness.

I second that last part. We're having electrical issues in our apt. right now and my Japanese neighboor is trilling off AGAIN!

Oh, great costume idea! Some Gal on here should dress up as Katniss Everdeen from "The Hunger Games" trilogy!!

*Growls* Here's the link, too large a pick to embedd...

I swallowed a handful of painkillers, not helping....

Man alive, but I had a killer headache all yesterday too. Must be the weather. Ended up washing the second handful of pills down with a bottle of vino in desperation for relief before sleep - hate falling asleep with a headache and then waking up to find it's still there. Weirdest dreams afterwards. Lots of the colour white. My bathroom was on fire and all I had was a glass of water to keep throwing at it. I was diving somewhere, and discovered that 8 minutes after my air should have run out I was still breathing. But as soon as I realised that I was "breathing" water I knew I only had like ten seconds to surface. I was staying at a girlfriend's house - usually when I dream of people they either morph seamlessly between people I know or are a sort of mosaic of several. But I didn't recognise this girl at all, even though I "knew" her. She had a black dog that bit my right big toe. But then there were two dogs, both of which were mine from real life from years ago. A wooden floor, painted white. A staircase. I was getting dressed to go somewhere, couldn't find the right shoes, a party or a picnic or something. Then my parents were there, and the girl was in a wedding dress. I don't know if I was going to a wedding though. One of the dogs ran away. I woke up and watched the Rugby World Cup Final.

But at least my headache was gone.

Dunno yet what I'll do Hallowe'en; it still seems so far away.

Up until the pregnancy ( which I still can't figure this one out ) I had constant pressure aches/migraines from a couple cysts in my head. The cysts are still there, because it's too risky to do any of the procedures right now, but they're strangely not giving me any problems.

When I did have to deal with the pain, I was prescribed everything from special headache formulas to really powerful narcotics. None of it seemed to help at all. Could have been a tolerance thing ( my body notoriously rejects foreign chemicals ) or a mental thing ( I hate western medicine, how is a pill going to help me? ). BUT Honestly, ibuprophren was my best friend. I didn't really need the pain itself to go away, I can ignore that. I needed the inflammation to go away.

At any rate, while I was having these headaches, I'd sleep like a baby. Nowadays, I'm having constant strange dreams. I remember at least one every morning, sometimes I'll remember two or three, depending on how alert I am when I wake up to go potty in the middle of the night.

It is a lot of work, but to me, it seems worth it.
The kids around here deserve it.
And us adults, do too. Something we can all share, at the same time.

Nice, from what I could see...my eyes are dilated right now from being at the doctor's and I have to wear the stupid paper sunglasses they make you wear...so annoying!

Also, T, if you can turn off the "auto-brightness" function on your camera, then it might look better, it does on my cam...

I think I'm going with the path of least resistance and going the Viking route we talked about earlier, as I have exams coming up and stuff...for chemistry and calculus...yeah, kind of sux, alot :-P
