If you have a favorite tea recipe post it here!

Peppermint & Chamomile tea (Ugly Tea):
1 pkg Chamomile tea (I use Celestial brand)
1 peppermint candy / tbsp peppermint extract
Splash of milk
Dash of sugar
optional: pinch of ginger and cinnamon

Don't be fooled by this ugly grey-colored tea, it's the perfect tea to drink when you're feeling down or sick. It'll pick you right up. This tea is very relaxing. Opens up your sinuses and is great for an upset tummy or cramps. Or just nice on a winter evening by the fire.
If you can't beat 'em - join 'em.

Call me a monster and I'll grin.
Cal me a sinner and my grin will get grinner.

When it comes to feeling sick, I always preferred my step-mom's ginger lemon tea. Though I don't know the recipe, so I can't get it anymore.

@Nina Also a fan of keeping it simple most of the time

I prefer teas that I gather on my own, cause i know where i picked the herbs and which ones.

My recipe for ginger tea is simple too, ginger, mint leafs, lemon juice and honey, proven to get u back into the game.

On the other hand, i like to play with my coffee, add a bit of pepper to it, or cinnamon mmmmmm :D

Still waiting for that like button.

Anyways, I love cinnamon in my coffee, its so delicious. Never tried pepper, will have to some time. My step-mom actually gathered the ingredients for the tea herself. She's one of those people that likes to grow their own spices, or know a good place to find them out in the wild. Luckily she knows what she's doing, or I'd worry.

Yeah, it would be cool to have something like a like button, cause many times i dont really feel like posting, just liking what someone wrote.

Pepper adds a bit of stronger flavor to it, so if you like your coffee strong, thats the spice for it. Of course, just a lil pinch, not a spoon lol.

Plain old mint tea for me, with a little bit of sugar. I've made tea from birch leaves, which isn't too bad. Birch trees are awesome; every part of them is edible. I've also made teas from herbs sent to me from a Native American healer that were awful to drink, but heavenly to bathe in.  :-)

Daily tea? As simple as I can get it.

When I have a cold...
The tea itself, is usually hand picked and home brewed. Ginger and Peppermint are always present, but depending on how I feel - or what the cold or issue is - I'll add Red clover, Anise or Goldenseal.
I have an extract I use, too that blends Valerian, Kava Kava and Passion Flower. The more sleep you get, the more relaxed you stay, the better off your immune system will be.
Of course, because I refuse Western Medicine for my Seizures, I use this extract in any drink ( except water and milk ).
Anyhow...
A shot ( 1 to 2 oz depending on your tastes ) of good old bourbon, add a tsp of lemon, and a tsp of local honey. Sometimes I'll add this to my tea, but with munchkins around I normally take the shot in secret and drink the tea afterwards. It wouldn't be good if they decided to try me tea and it had that in it!

EDIT: Removed

It's made out of Asian water lilies "Lotus Root Tea". It was really good, and helped kick almost any cold or virus I had.

Hear Hear!
I can't right now, though.
Got a couple trimesters left, and about a year or so after that for feeding and raising reasons.

BUT a shot of Wild Turkey American Honey has helped in a NUMBER of Throat related occasions; Ugh, doing any kind of Announcements, Seminar Speeches, Back up vocals... especially during allergy season... I wouldn't have made it through any of those with my voice intact without that shot, I'm sure.
