Although I don't find it scary now, it does stick with me. Terror in the Wax Museum was the scariest I had seen, I was very young when I snuck downstairs to watch it, sounds kind of lame but it does still have an impact on me.

Phantom Stranger

One of the best ghost stories ever made. A true classic. It's amazing how good the original was and how bad the remake is.
I am known in many realms by many names, but those that know me in your world call me the Phantom Stranger.

Nigel Thornberry??? What is that from????? :|

The Wild Thornberries

The scariest movie for me was Brain Dead, its an old Peter Jackson Flick, I don't know if it was ever released outside of New Zealand. It was the first out of two horror movies to give me nightmares.
I have seen most of the horror movies mentioned and really a good horror has to rely on underlying mood. They had that down in House on Huanted HIll (remake).
Stephen King is repetitive, if you've read one of his books you've basically read them all.

You'll all laugh at me, the scariest for me was "Poltergeist" ! But I have to mention that I was 5 when I saw it the first time...  :-P traumatized the heck out of me!

Thats nothing! When i was younger I was terrified of the Crypt Keeper from "Tales from the Crypt" series. A few years later, I looked back and kept wondering why i was scared of a skeleton w/ a weird voice and corny jokes.
