Christopher Lee as the Count and his arch enemy Peter Cushing as the  Vampire hunter Van Helsing.

The count is brought back from the dead after his destruction in the original film

Four british travellers  journey through the Carpathian Alps in the 1800s.

They are cautioned to steer clear of Carlsbad Castle but they end up going there anyway.

During the night one of the travellers is killed by the servant and his blood is used to resurrect the long-dead Count Dracula.




If you are a Hammer fan this one's for you,  if you are not a Hammer fan, don't think the story resembles Bram Stokers "Dracula"

I've never seen this one so I'll have to see if I can get ahold of it. I'm also a big fan of the Hammer horror films.

It's been a long time since I've sat down with any of the Hammer films. I'll have to check this one out..

The John Carpenter "Prince of Darkness" was pretty good too..

 wish the Hammer films would get more airings on TV.  I used to love watching them years back.

Love love love this movie, did i say i loved it? anyway it has peter cushing ,christopher lee as dracula, how bad can that be?   
the question is not that the glass is either half empty or half full..but more like 'WHO DRANK MY BEER?'
