Used to live with a violent ghost

When I was little I use to live in this haunted house.  me and other family members would get pushed down stares.  Stuff would get tossed.  Doors would open and close. Strange noises would be made.  The creepiest part was the ghost when he was manifesting.  It was a blood covered boy.

 Some people don't believe that a child ghost can be evil, but I certainly do. I hope everyone made it out ok. What else happened?

this could be the case of a poltergeist but poltergeists have had a few recent scientific explanations. maybe it's just the way the malevolent spirit manifests itself. if it was a blood-covered boy, then maybe the boy died in a gruesome way and is now seeking revenge.

it could be a darker entity like what some call a demon, they often use different guises to fool people into letting their guard down.

no i don't think it's a demon.....demons manifest themselves in ordinary people everyday so i don't think it is....besides, demons really don't manifest themselves like that, unless it's some kind of demonic possesion

I don't think I am going to comment on the demon vs. other entity thing but you are right I don't believe it would have been a demon either. But I have a random question to ask. I thought weres couldn't see spirits. I am confused on that because Half of the sources I read say they can and the other half say they can't. Does it depend on the wear just like other people?

comment on demon possesion: the only real evidence of demon possesion is on people that they think are a threat or on people because they have to because (don't want to sound horrible) god wants to prove a point (usally the people who undergo this are innocent). Don't know if that is true but it is my theory for right now because I have noticed it. 

Poltergeist does sound right. The spirit there could be held forever if not helped into the "light". The horrible death would make the child feel a need to be alive because it was unnatural. Not so much as seeking revenge (thats movie stuff). It would just be scared and not know what really happend until someone releases it (because I highly doubt that a little boy would have done horrible acts himself such as murder in his life time, only thouse who did bad cannot be helped as well because they will not leave because they were already an angered spirit to begin with).
