Hi, I'm new here. my name is Rachael. I look forward to meeting some of you. I don't know why, but when I'm new, I allways lik to make a new string. It's kinda a habbit. So, who's your favorite vampire???? I like Dracula! He's a legend. sory i gtg. my dad's home
-
I like morbius the vampire from spider man!
-
My favourite fictional vampire would be none other than the famous Lestat De Lioncourt. Ahh,did he have style!
-
Dracula all the way!!
-
Yeah. I LOVE Bela! I asked my friend Connor to go on ebay and get me a poster of Bela as Dracula autograhed by Anne Rice. She rocks to, even though I'm not alowed to read her books, I have heard about them, and I think I like them. I also write books, but I only have two books that are true Fiction. one's allready finished and I just need to publish it (along with the rest of my books lol  ) and a nother one that I started a couple of days ago, Scream. I am REALY exited about getting it finished!
-
my favorite vampire would be amand he is marius' amadio he is allso the most beutiful of vampires known to be the closest thing to the angels.
-
But also the most deceptive and sly. Next to the brutal honesty of Lestat,he fails to impress. Of course, that's just my opinion.
-
that queen vamp form, queen of the damned
-
Ahh,Akasha. The immortal Godess who would have made Lestat her consort. Yeah, she was a compelling character too.
-
Frank Langella was the most beautiful vampire and Gary Oldman the scariest. Queen of the Darned was like a parody to me, more funny than frightening. The old and original Salem's Lot with David Soul was pretty scary back in the day. The last one was hokey. Of course, no one can say
"Ah, the children of the night....what music They make!" like Bela.
My all time fave vampire was Nicholas of Forever Knight.

I like that vamp from Blade, :? you know that one that tried to turn into a god or somthin.
-
he was okay... but his friend was stupied...
-
Count Orlock from "Nosferatu", definitley the coolest looking vampire Ive seen on film.
-
Oh god just one?
From Anime: Alucard from Hellsing. The anime series blew me away, mainly because of Alucard.
From Books: Surprisingly not Dracula. I like him, but my favorite is the Old Count from Carpe Jugulim by Terry Practett. He is a minor character, but you can see Christopher Lee delivering the lines. And how he can remember the ancestors of the current mob and how they had killed him multiple times. Funny scene.
From Video Games: Kain, hands down. He has no moral issues about being a vampire, just people that try to deceive him.
From TV. Spike. He was the only reason I watched Buffy.
From Movies: This one is hard. But Willam Defoe's Count Orlock is one of my favorites. Its a three way tie with him and Dracula (Bela Lagosi) and Christopher Lee's Dracula.
-
Barnabas Collins from the 1991 Dark Shadows and Dracula (Bela)

-
Nosferatu, and the Nosferatu Clan in "Vampire: The Masquerade"
-
Hmmm, can I choose more than one?
I LOVED Deacon Frost from Blade,he was just wicked cool, not very scary I admit, but then again he was never meant to be
The best Dracula for me has to be Frank Langella, boy was he HOT!!
From Buffy,I liked Angelus the most. There was just something about him, soooo very sexy,he was cute when he was Angel too,but not as interesting,I liked Spike too,he came out with some pretty funny lines :D
-
Lestat and Dracula (Gary Oldman) from Bram Stroker's Dracula are my favorite vampires.
-
Lestat and Dracula (Gary Oldman) from Bram Stroker's Dracula are my favorite vampires.
Tom Cruise played "Lestat" much better than Stuart Townsend IMO
And what ever villian Gary Oldman plays is naturally going to be good
These are my 2 choices also
-
Christopher Lee's Dracula; "Ultraviolet's" Code Vs; the alien vampires in "Life Force".
(Also, while "Van Helsing" was a fun romp, there is really only ONE Van H ~ Peter Cushing.)
-
there is really only ONE Van H ~ Peter Cushing.
Agreed DV
Most actors from the classic draculas are great in the role...love the old B&W horror shows
-
Bela's Dracula was the first vampire movie I saw and its still the best. Bela played the role wonderfully.
Richard Vasseur

Bela Lugosi is the only hollywood vampire for me! oh... i do like nosferatu from nosferatu.
I think bela lugosi is the only person that i would ever commit necropehlism with. i'm dead serious. i would so jump his bones.(yes pun intended.)
-
Dracula and Nick Knight (from Forever Knight)
-
Selene from Underworld. I know the movie is campy, I know it violates every rule about real vampires and werewolves. But a hot chick in tight leather with twin auto pistols beats a dude with a cape anyday.
Either her or Leslie Neilson as Count Dracula in "Dracula: Dead and Loving It."

Selene is very cool, unfortunately Underworld seems to be lycan oriented than vamp and I support vampires all the way.
If it comes to literature I sort of love/hate Lestat, so I must mention him, as well as Armand (though I hate Tom Cruise wearing the blond wig and pretending to be a 6ft tall gorgeous vampire).
Stoker's Dracula is the best ever, but I'm also into Asher out of Laurell K hamilton's vampire hunter series. I love his tragically beautiful look.
If it comes to hormons, mine support Wesley Snipes' Blade, the daywalker.
-
~Definitely Louis Pointe Du Lac from ¨Interview with the Vampire... I guess no one needs an explanation on this one...!
~the fallen~
-
Lestat De Lioncourt. Ahh,did he have style!
Which one?
Tom Cruise from "Interview with a Vampire" or Stuart Townsend from "Queen of the Dammed"
-
I forgot that Cruise did "Interview with a Vampire". Wow, that was such a long time ago.
-
Tom Cruise was better at playing the "Lestat" charater than Stuart Townsend IMHO
Gosh !! I can't believe I said something good about Tom Cruise :-P
-
I like lestat in queen of the damned
-
1 Dracula
2 Barnabas Collins
3 Nick Knight
4 Jerry Dandridge (Fright Night)
5 Nosferatu
-
My favourite Vampire was The Hero in Lost Boys, he wasn't one for long but boyu was he funny, if it had to be a full one then Keifer Sutherland will do.
Death By Stereo. I reckon Molly Ringwold would've made a good vampire... would give the breakfast club a whole new meaning.
-
First would have to be Barnabas Collins from Dark Shadows
After that Chrisopher Lee, Bela Lugosi
-
The Count Orlock from the movie "Shadow of a vampire" played by Willam DeFoe :-D
-
Nosferatu
-
Well of course Dracula and Count Orlock are classics. One of the first that come to mind as being memorable to me for some reason is the Vampire 'Jerry Dandridge' from the 80's movie 'FRIGHT NIGHT'.. He was a pretty unique character and played a Vamp very well.. 'Evil Ed' was another memorable vampire role from that film..
And, you wouldn't think so, but the 70's version of Dracula (Tomb of Dracula) from Marvel Comics was really good too, especially the later issues which became darker and didn't have the approval of the comics code.. You can check them out in the 'Marvel Essentials' collection, which puts all the issues together in black in white with about 30 issues per volume, with 3 or 4 volumes total. They are only about $15 bucks each and WELL worth it..

Uhhhhmmm, or that one armed Vampire played by Pee-Wee Herman in the Buffy movie..
-
Peewee was great though.....especailly his death scene

Kain from LOTK. He fights the machinations of others but still cannot escape fate.
whereas his "son"
Raziel is the only one with "true" freewill yet still trapped by his idealisim & Obsession.
since Kain is the only one of the two stll currentlly a vamp then i go with him.(the latter being dead, undead, a spirit wraith thing)
Plus he just kicks so much ***!!!!! :-D
<^>

I like Barnabus Collins, too.
-
Blade dont 4get he waz born a vampire/human <^> <^>
-
OK, now I'm mixed up. I thought Quintin was a vampire on Dark Shadows. It's been so long (like decades) since I saw the both of them.
-
gotta love the old movies, i have most of em and never tire of watching them, Lee and cushing were a wonderful team, and i know im gonna get roasted at the stake (pun intended) but i hate lugosi......not very tempting, as dracula was (lee was so much better) just MHO
-
Count Dracula all the way, regardless of who plays him. <^>
-
Angelus from Buffy and Angel. He had flair. None of that frilly cuffs and cravate nonsense. Just nailing puppies to walls, beating men to death with there own arms and killin gypsies. Eithere that or the head vamp from 30 days of night. He was badass.
-
Tom Cruise was better at playing the "Lestat" charater than Stuart Townsend IMHO
Gosh !! I can't believe I said something good about Tom Cruise :-P
I have to agree with the Guardian on this one. Rice made the perfect "Brat Prince" out of Lestat, and it was portrayed perfectly by Hollywood’s own "Brat Princess". Cruise was able to mix the perfect amount of Masculinity and Feminism in order to give Lestat true life (or would un-death be a more apt term?). Cruise as a person is..............well let's just say I do not agree with him or his ideas, but no one can take away the fact that he is a very gifted actor.
Favorite Vamp.........Lestat, hands down.
-
I have a few favourites:
Louie from An Interview with a Vampire (Movie)
Quinn from the Riley Jenson series (Books)
Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV Series)
Alucard from Hellsing (Anime/Manga series)
David from The Lost Boys (Movie)
Jasper Hale from Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn (Movies/books)
-
My favorite vampires of all time is definitively Count Orlok and Vlad Dracula.
