I tried to put in 2 votes...Tales from the Crypt and Tales from the Dark Side...These were both very scarey...for me anyway when I was only a little nipper...13yrs old...now they are just great fun...but I do have to say they are quite unsettling to watch even now...

I think there was one series that I watched that had the guy in his nice clean labratory and then he noticed a cockroach... :?  then there were loads of cockroaches and then bloody hell they were everywhere...and then they were gone...he was laying on the floor looking pretty dead...yuck yuck yuck...the cockroaches start to come out of his mouth and braking out of his body everywhere...oh god...*shives*...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG...I HATE COCKROACHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even now being the age of 32...it would still get me all shaky...yeah I know...baby...ha ha...but still they are great programs...

I am old enough that I came home from school and watched the original "Dark Shadows" soap opera every afternoon in the 60's.  It played for several years.  I always liked when they would have a time continuem shift and go back into a previous century.

I very well recall Barnabas Collins, (Jonathan Frid) being in all the teen magazines, like "Tiger Beat" (is that still around?)  The love of his life was named Angelique, and he searched for her through the generations.

Kind of tame, I guess, compared to the horror shows out there now.

I don't know if this classifies as 'horror', but I liked "The Sixth Sense."

StarLord

I remember the Sixth Sense TV show starring Gary Collins.  It was made part of the Night Gallery show for syndication.

 Out of all of them I like Tales from the Crypt (consider I have no clue what the others are about...)

:( I hate cockroaches too!! call me a wimp...I know I am... but when I see a cockroach I push everyone out the way and jump on the highest thing I can find! I swear it started to follow me! I freaked and ran jumping on top of the dinning table... while everyone watched me laughing... :(  I really couldn't hear them laugh I was to busy yelling...

 so what! I have every right to freak just like everyone else!

I voted for Tales from the Crypt.  I love that show.  I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.  A very close 2nd would be Tales from the Darkside that was a good show too.

I liked Angel better than Buffy myself.

I loved the 70's Version of  The Night Stalker.

The original Night Stalker was great, too.
I also liked the follow up to Tales from the Darkside, which was called Monsters.
