Has anyone seen this yet?


A TV series based on the books by Jim Butcher

It premiered on January 21, 2007 at 9:00 PM EST on the Sci Fi channel (US)

It has also been picked up by Sky One in the UK and began airing on February 14 2007

Harry Dresden (Paul Blackthorn) is a professional wizard who often helps the police with cases involving "unusual" circumstances and others who seek his help

Bob (Terrence Mann) a old spirit who is owned by Dresden
He advises Dresden on both personal and magical matters

Lt. Connie Murphy (Valerie Cruz) A Chicago policewoman who seeks out Harry's help with cases that are hard to solve and may be supernaturally related

The first episode I would say was...OK.... but it has gotten better as the show progresses

[Quest]

I think this show has gotten progessvely better and it's one of the more interesting original series on SciFi Channel.  In some respects it follows the standard private eye format;  Dresden has a "friend on the force" and is hired by various clients.  But he's more of a paranormal detective.
Bob is a very interesting character and him being a spirit makes him a most unusual assistant for Dresden.

I seen the advertisements for this weeks episode coming up

It stars Claudia Black from SG1 and Farscape

[Quest]

I'm not certain how the ratings are on it, but I think they are comprable to Galactica.  Galactica's been picked up for another season so I'm hoping Dresden does as well.
