Title: Mitsuo: a japanese Jesus Christ

Matayoshi Mitsuo is an eccentric Japanese politician with the conviction that he is the God and Christ.According to his program, he will do the Last Judgement as the Christ but the way to do this is totally within the current political system and its legitimacy. His first step as the Savior is to be appointed the prime minister of Japan.

Then he will reform Japanese society and then the United Nations should offer him the honor of its General Secretary. Then Matayoshi Jesus will reign over the whole world with two legitimate authorities, not only religious but also political.

He has presented himself in many elections but he has not won yet. He has become well-known for his eccentric campaigns where he urges opponents to commit suicide by hara-kiri.

He sounds almost like he could come right out of an RP book...Interesting, but I don't think it's going to pan out so well for him.  Too many people when talking about the world scope would have a problem with someone claiming something like that and ruling them.  Especially as most of the world certainly isn't one religion.  The world is still far too skeptical or caught up in their own religions to accept him in this day and age, thankfully.

I'm just thinking I don't think he'll get to the "ruling the world" status.  The world's too wary about it right now.  However, he still may win an election somewhere and the news stories to follow would be very interesting, I'd imagine.

I don't think he'll get very far, he's fighting against some bad memories.  The Aum Shinrikyo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aum_Shinri_Kyo) tried to put several of its members into government and all were denied.  Afterwards, they gathered funds and used Sarin gas (a toxic nerve gas) in numerous attacks around Tokyo as ordered by Asahara, the cult's prophet.  He was then sentenced to hang and I believe his daughter took over the cult after him.

Looks like a bad Photoshop job...they just took a picture of the guy's head and placed it over an iconic Jesus image; the proportions aren't even right.

so I see the age of false prophets is really taking off well it seems to make sense, it should be drawing to a close within the next 30 years as the crystal children rebuild the world of peace and then after the thousand years of peace god rains down the apocalypse lol

Dude. False prophets have always been amongst us. We can't actually claim he's beast no 2 or nothing like that.

Just cause something is stated to happen in the bible doesn't mean that when something similar happens in RL we panic. Its like trying to decipher Nostradamus. Its too vague.
