did u just make them up when you got here cuz i look on the internet everywhere and this is the first time i herd of it shadows i dun think even exist beside what comes from yjr sun reflecting

I do not know what others call them. I made the name 'Shadows'. They are a product of my own searching. I8 think a lot of Shadows are mistaken to be demons and such.

Shadows are perhaps one of the most ignored creatures of myth there are. They have been given many names from many different cultures throughout time. Almost any reference in any document that you have ever read that makes reference to 'strange, shadowy figures that are just out of reach' are Shadows. They have the power to locate people through thier emotions (the stronger the emotion, the easier they are to find) and are mainly carnivorous, although they can eat vegetables, if they need to. Shadows can take on a human form, although they are weakened slightly in this state. They cannot look directly at the sun, even for a second, without paying severe consequences for it. They are quite strong, and have superior senses, expecially night vision. Out of human form, they can appear as a 3-dimensional shadow, and may be opaque, or translucent. It can be presumed that thier out-of-human state, is actually thier astral form. I believe that the myths of 'pchycic vampires' originated from limited accounts of Shadows, as did possesed humans, which are most likely what a Shadow looks like when they are alarmed, and in a human form. People make very little reference to Shadows, so they are difficult to hunt. But they are out there..... Somewhere.....

That was a quote from an older post I made. Shadows also have to extra senses, which are generally unique to that particular Shadow. You say you have never encountered one, but you have. Shadows can easily pass for humans if they wish, and it is only a select few who are sensitive who can spot a Shadow out in a crowd. This is simply because Shadows are a wealth of energy. They radiate incredible forces, which often change whether conditions to act strangely, or prompt accidents. These energies can be focussed by a Shadow, to a limited extent, eccpessiallly with outbursts of anger. Many bizzare whether stories, (i.e, raining frogs, increase in locusts, caterpillars, etc...) are caused merely by a particularilly strong emotion from a Shadow.




Kittyclawing, keep in mind that a lot of this is something which I have figured out alone, because of limited accounts of Shadows. It so happens that the temperature where I live is ideal for them. They do not like warm or cold temperatures, prefering cooler climates, Also be aware that most of this information has been hastily cobbled together. I have little to no scientific evidence to prove these theories, exept my own experiances with Shadows. If it were me looking at soeone else talking about this, I probably think they were babbling insanely, but I've seen to many strange things happen around Shadows to believe they don't exist. Any one of you can put me down as a liar, but I don't exist to prove myself to the world. Belive me or don't. It doesn't matter to me. Shadow activity has been increasing lately, meaning some big change in the world. I think it may be tied in with the comig of the Indigo Children. I will try to get more information, but I doubt tere is much more I can extract from mere observations. If I approach a Shadow in human form, all they do is hiss at me and run away.    

   Anyway, believe me or don't. I may be comepletely wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm the closest thing we have to a Shadow expert on this forum. I think the Wiccans may know something about Shadows. Thanks for reading my long rant, and I hope you will make an effort to believe me.

Because I believe that they know how to sense them... Some wicca books I have read make reference to creatures called show-beings, and some are slightly similiar.

I don't disbelieve you.  I think anything is possible.  

However, I'm not sure wiccans would know - the wicca I studied seemed pretty mild compared to the witchcraft I practiced.

Witches who have practiced for a long time might understand what you're talking about.

The only thing I ever saw that resembled shadows were dark, fast moving small entities that ran along the floors next to the walls.  Sort of like a mouse, only bigger and very shadow-y.  

You have a very interesting theory, that's for sure.

Since Shadows can take a variey of shapes, there's no guarentee that what you saw wasn't a group of Shadows.

This is one of the stories I found about people's experiances with Shadows. Some are incorrect, or they are actually talking about another being, but this one is about my Shadows, although I don't know what the 'red orbs' were. Here it is:


                            Shadow People and the Ouija
I'm pretty sure the shadow people are demons. One night I was having a party and I had just gotten a Ouija board for my birthday. Everyone talked me into using it, so we started playing. Then weird stuff started happening. Shadow figures started to appear in my room - a lot of shadow people. It wasn't any of our shadows; these were different. Some had red eyes. Then red orbs started coming through my room. We had made a protective circle and we all tried to stay in it. It got really cold in my room and we could all see our breath. If some of my friends couldn't see the shadow people, they could feel them. There was an all-out evil feeling in the room. We all got too freaked out to move. We were just like, "Whoa!" Then one of the shadow people changed - they got all scary looking. I could explain, but I don't want to go into detail. Let's just say pumpkin head (the demon guy from scary movies; no, his head is not a pumpkin.) So we screamed and finally ran out of the room. My parents thought we were crazy. That night when we when to bed, my closets were glowing red and orbs were going through my room. We didn't go to sleep until, like, 5 a.m., and even then we only slept not even four hours. That was freaky, and stuff didn't die down for a while after that. That was the last time I used the Ouija board. I threw it somewhere deep down in one of my closets. Now I've only used Physic Circle, and even that has consequences. I'm not allowed to use it anymore because of what happened to me, my friend and my mom. But that is another story for another time. - Manda


   My analysis of what happened to Manda, was that by playing with the Ouiji Board, the Shadows felt she was inviting them in. Because it was her house they were entering, she was the one who could see them. Now that they have her invitation, they will use her as a source of energy, most likely for the rest of her life, similiar to you Sybon (Unless you followed my instructions and guarded your room against them, but I doubt you did).

I agree with you, Shadowling.

Whatever entities were there were indeed invited by the use of the ouija board.  In fact, I think "Manda" should take the board outside and burn it, not throw it in the closet.  Or tear it up and put it in the garbage.

This is like laying out a welcome mat for them.

The feeling she describes of 'evil' in the room is of satan.

I've never found any cleansings to work except by Christian methods.  I tried protective circles, smudging, spells, chanting, etc.

The only thing that made them go away was when I declared that I believed that Jesus was the Son of the living God and that the blood He shed on the cross had wondrous power against all evil.  When I claimed Jesus's love for me, and asked for His help and the power of His blood against evil, it stopped.
