HELP!!!!

I need help! My friend is being possessed by a demon named Stryx! He know's the name, yes. He can snap out of the possession sorta, but only for like an hour or so. Neither me nor Zack know why Stryx chose him, but now Stryx's there and he won't go away. Zack's "symtoms" are that he's acting depressed and that he tried to kill himelf, but failed. Please help me!

Take him to some expert specialized on exorcism, a priest or something - they'll know what to do.

thanks! but He also sees orbs in mirrors. but only him. will the excersism get rid of the orbs too?

Probably yes, if that's the result of being possessed.

he needs to be exorcised. that's a sure way to drive the demon away

there's a lot more in the world than supernatural demons that can resemble possession, if it's not genuine possession the pursuit of one will only complicate the issue and possibly to a lot more harm than good.

figure out what's really vexing your friend before you create more chaos.

To start -- What I going to say may or may not be true for your friend. It's just a thought.

This is kind of to go further with what Jordyn said. I've had many friends that had severe depression. I've also had several friends who would do anything to get attention. I would wonder if what your friend says is true. I'm not saying it isn't, but if he's got any history of lying, 'playing wolf', or trying to always be the center of attention, then I would wonder if I was you.

A couple of questions that I'd ask myself when wondering if something is true or not are (these are things I've had to ask myself before to see if I believe my friends):

Is he using it to show off? Is he telling a lot of people expecting to get a reaction?

Does he only 'come out' of the possession when everyone's talking to him or does he only 'go into' it?

Has he done anything that could be taken out of a television show or movie?

Is he insecure with himself enough that he depends on the affection of others for his own happiness?

If all these answers point to it not being a lie, then I would follow the above advice of Sick_Angel and Vince.

He got an exorcism last night. It sucessfully worked.

Thank goodness, and be sure to take some safe measures so the demon won't return.

Oh yes, because a creepy old man in tacky black clothing and an overly-starched collar walking around chanting and sprinkling microwaved water on you is so life-threatening.

First off, your friend is probably stark staring bonkers.
HOWEVER, if I am wrong...
There's really no hope. Honestly, something powerful enough to take over the human mind through force is without a doubt powerful enough to do whatever it wants.
Think of it like this. Jesus could cast a high ranking Infernal into a herd of pigs, then force them to drown themselves.
How many times does the bible mention someone other than the supposed Son Of God doing something like this?
if you rely on a priest, a mere human believing in a religion that has changed so much throughout the years to mean essentially nothing anymore, to get rid of an infernal manifestation, then you're pretty much farked.
That's my advice.
